The Women’s Resilience Centre offers free trauma-informed recovery programs designed to support women to reset, rebuild, and move forward after domestic abuse and trauma.
Delivered through our secure online platform and led by qualified facilitators, our trauma‑informed programs support women nationwide. Our programs provide practical tools, connection, and structured support to help you build emotional resilience, confidence, independence, and wellbeing, at your own pace and in a safe, supported environment.
Most women rebuild after abuse and trauma without any formal support. We're here to support you to recover with trauma-informed programs, connection, and practical tools. Caring Conversations is a nurturing program designed to help you find your footing again through gentle reflection, supportive connection, and guided conversation. It offers a soft place to land - a welcoming space where you can feel heard, understood, and less alone.

Women seeking a safe, supportive community to pause, reflect, and explore what they need next. It’s ideal for anyone unsure where to begin, wanting to feel less alone, or looking for a gentle first step before engaging other WRC services.
Program Overview
Across five weeks, you’ll explore your emotional foundation through gentle reflection, optional journaling, simple grounding practices, and supportive conversation. Together, we look at what nourishes you, what drains you, and what feels meaningful as you begin finding your footing again.
Each session offers a calm, pressure‑free environment where sharing is always optional and your pace is respected. This is a safe, supportive learning space, not therapy, designed to help you feel supported, understood and accompanied as you explore your next steps.

Navigating Emotions is a supportive, practical 5‑week program that helps you understand your emotional patterns and build everyday tools to feel calmer, more grounded, and more confident. Through gentle mindfulness and simple grounding practices, this welcoming space encourages you to reconnect with your inner steadiness.

Women seeking a safe, encouraging space to pause the busyness of daily life, connect with others, and explore practical skills that support emotional wellbeing.
Program Overview
Across five weeks, you’ll explore how emotions work in the body and discover how grounding, breathwork, and mindfulness can support your natural sense of balance. You’ll learn to recognise personal vulnerabilities that make coping feel harder, strengthen healthy boundaries, and approach emotionally challenging moments with greater courage and self‑compassion.
If you’ve completed Caring Conversations, Navigating Emotions can be a good next step toward building practical tools for everyday emotional balance.
Each online session blends practical skill‑building with gentle guided exercises and supportive conversation. There is no pressure to share - you’re always in control of your own participation and free to learn at a pace that feels right for you.

This interactive workshop offers a supportive, friendly space dedicated to help you navigate times of change with clarity and confidence. Together, we explore how life transitions impact our daily life and consider what it means to step into a new phase of life with calm intention.

Managing Money is a practical, confidence‑building program that helps women rebuild financial wellbeing. In a calm, shame‑free environment, you’ll learn simple tools to understand your money, recognise your strengths, and regain a sense of stability and control.

Across the program, you’ll explore what financial wellbeing looks like in real life, understand the foundations of income, expenses, savings, and debt, and learn how these pieces work together to support everyday stability. You’ll gently unpack money beliefs shaped by past experiences, explore mindset and stress patterns, and build resilience through supportive reflection. Throughout the journey, you’ll create your personalised Money Map - a clear, compassionate picture of your financial future.

Who This Program Is For
Women seeking a safe, encouraging space to build practical skills for returning to work, pivoting careers, or exploring new employment opportunities.
This program focuses on traditional workforce employment and does not include entrepreneurship or business start‑ups.
Program Overview
Empowering Employment is an interactive workshop where you learn through discussion, guided activities, and supportive group exploration. You’ll begin with a personal strengths assessment that helps you recognise the value of your lived experience and feel more confident about stepping back into the workforce. Each session blends practical skill‑building with an environment that respects your pace and supports you to take action in ways that feel right for you.
Facilitators introduce simple AI tools as enablement supports and weave digital resources throughout the experience. You’ll also gain access to our Learning Hub - a collection of templates and tools designed to help you continue building job‑search confidence beyond the program.
An extended post‑course partnership with an industry recruiter offers personalised resume feedback and may help connect you to suitable job opportunities as you explore roles at your own pace.

Our free, trauma-informed programs provide structured recovery support for women who are post crisis and rebuilding confidence, wellbeing, independence and connection. Designed to complement existing professional supports, our free online programs offer a practical, no-cost pathway into recovery-focused group programs across emotional resilience, financial wellbeing, employment readiness, parenting and life transitions.

A: Our programs are designed for women who are in the recovery phase from domestic abuse, trauma, or loss. To ensure safety and effectiveness for all participants, we currently cannot accommodate:
Women in acute crisis situations who need immediate safety support
Women experiencing acute mental health emergencies
Women with acute substance abuse issues requiring specialist intervention
If you're in any of these situations, we can provide appropriate referrals to crisis services. Once you're stabilised, we welcome you to join our recovery programs.
