Mentoring
“Being a mentor has been as healing for me as it hopefully has been helpful for my mentee. There’s something powerful about turning your experience into hope for someone else.”
“Having a mentor who understood exactly what I was going through made all the difference. She didn’t judge, she didn’t rush me, she just walked alongside me and helped me see my own strength. The mentoring program gave me hope when I couldn’t find it myself.”
Mentoring that supports women on their recovery journey
Peer-to-peer connection and professional capability building, delivered 100% online, nationally accessible to any woman, anywhere in Australia
Why Mentoring Matters
Mentoring is a vital part of sustainable long-term recovery. The Women's Resilience Centre's national mentoring program supports women on their recovery journey through peer-to-peer connection and professional capability building, reaching women wherever they are, breaking down barriers of geography, stigma and accessibility.
Our 100% online national program reaches women in every community across Australia through our secure MentorCloud platform, ensuring privacy and support regardless of location.
Our Program Framework:
Secure MentorCloud platform - Trauma-informed screening and matching, safe and confidential
Compulsory onboarding training - All mentors and mentees prepared before commencing
Ongoing training and independent support - Throughout the entire mentoring journey
