Help 1 in 4 Women Reset and Rebuild

Payroll giving is one of the easiest ways for you to create steady, long‑term support for women recovering from domestic abuse and trauma. By giving a small amount from each pay, often matched by your employer, your pay helps women across Australia reset, rebuild and thrive.

1 in 4 Australian women experience domestic violence. Most never access long‑term recovery support. That’s 1 in 4 of your colleagues, 1 in 4 of your customers and 1 in 4 people in your community. Your regular gift through payroll giving can help change that.

Less than 1% of our funding comes from government. Your decision to support the Women’s Resilience Centre through payroll giving becomes the catalyst that makes recovery possible.

The Women’s Resilience Centre is a national recovery service dedicated to helping women heal and move forward after domestic abuse and trauma through powerful, holistic long‑term recovery support. We specialise in sustainable recovery and breaking the cycle of abuse so future generations are protected.

How payroll giving works

  1. You choose your amount
Decide on a regular pre‑tax donation from each pay whatever feels right for you.

  2. Your payroll team processes it automatically
Your gift is deducted from your salary before tax, often meaning it costs you less than giving the same amount after tax.

  3. Your employer may match your gift
Many organisations match or partially match staff donations, multiplying your impact at no extra cost to you.

  4. Women receive long‑term recovery support
Your regular gift powers national recovery programs focused on work and career, finances, parenting, relationships, joy, connection, stress reduction and resilience.

Check if your workplace offers payroll giving

Use the tool below to see if your employer has a payroll or workplace giving program and how to add the Women’s Resilience Centre as your charity of choice. If your company appears, you’ll see the steps, forms and contact details you need to get started. If it doesn’t, you can still share this page with HR or People & Culture and ask about setting up payroll giving to support women’s recovery.

Why choose the Women’s Resilience Centre

By directing your payroll giving to the Women’s Resilience Centre, you:

  • Support gender equality and women’s safety in a tangible, ongoing way.

  • Fund long‑term recovery, not just immediate response.

  • Stand with colleagues and community members who may be impacted by domestic abuse.

  • Align your everyday work with a cause that deeply resonates with staff, customers and stakeholders.

Our programs are accessible to women in every community of Australia through secure online programs and remote client‑care management, ensuring privacy and support regardless of location. Through national lived‑experience mentoring, innovative recovery programs and our frontline recovery hub, The Resilience Circle, your payroll gifts create lasting change.
