WHY CIRQUE DU JOY?

Joy is more than a fleeting feeling; it’s a state of mind that brings fulfilment, resilience, and connection, even in life’s most difficult moments.

At its heart, joy is about human connection. It strengthens our social bonds, transcends language, and reminds us that quality of life is defined not only by survival, but by celebration, wonder, and delight.

Joy is a human right; an essential part of recovery. For women and families rebuilding their lives after trauma, joy must not be an afterthought. It is central to healing, to hope, and to wholeness.

When we come together in a shared moment of joy, we remember what it means to feel alive; and we extend that possibility to others. This evening isn’t just a celebration. It’s a catalyst for change.

Together, we’re creating space for joy; and making it possible for women and families to reset, rebuild, and thrive.
