Empowering Employment is a supportive online program designed to help women explore career options, identify their strengths, and build practical job-search skills in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Who this Course is for
Women seeking a safe, encouraging space to build practical skills for returning to work, pivoting careers, or exploring new employment opportunities.
This program focuses on traditional workforce employment and does not include entrepreneurship or business start-ups.
Course Overview
Empowering Employment is an interactive workshop where you learn through discussion, guided activities, and supportive group exploration.
You'll begin with a personal strengths assessment that helps you recognise the value of your lived experience and feel more confident about stepping back into the workforce. Each session blends practical skill-building with an environment that respects your pace and supports you to take action in ways that feel right for you.
Facilitators introduce simple AI tools as enablement supports and weave digital resources throughout the experience. You'll also gain access to our Learning Hub, a collection of templates and tools designed to help you continue building job-search confidence beyond the program.
An extended post-course partnership with an industry recruiter offers personalised resume feedback and may help connect you to suitable job opportunities as you explore roles at your own pace.

Meet your Course Facilitators
Ally is a counsellor and has worked in the community services sector since 2019. Along with a background in teaching and working with immigrants, Ally has been a fierce advocate for the vulnerable throughout her work in disability and aged care and more recently with the Women’s Resilience Centre.
Ally’s lived FDV experience has launched her conviction to actively champion the cause against family and domestic violence and as counsellor, her approach is both caring, always respectful and grounded in her passion for empowering the vulnerable while never underestimating the fortitude of the human spirit.

As someone from another country, I found it extremely difficult to gain employment despite a law degree and professional experience. The support I received enabled me to receive essential training in job searching, along with guidance through the interview process.”
